The Pavilion N3310 includes external buttons for playing CDs.


The HP Pavilion N3310 is a laptop/notebook computer designed for home and small business usage. Manufactured with a 5 GB hard drive, 64MB RAM memory and an AMD K6-2 processor rated at 500 MHz, this model is designed to be a versatile personal computer, with features including Internet connectivity, multimedia capabilities and one-touch application shortcut buttons.


Hardware


The HP Pavilion N3310 weighs just over 7 pounds, and measures 12.25 inches wide, 9.81 inches deep and 1.58 inches high. It features a 13-inch monitor with 16-bit color support and 800 x 600 resolution, with 1024 x 768 external video resolution. External storage/media drives include CD-ROM and a 3.5-inch floppy disk. Other design features include built-in speakers and microphone, and a touch pad pointing and selection control. The lithium ion battery offers three hours of running time, at full charge in top condition.


Software


The N3310 utilizes the Windows 98 SE operating system, and comes with Microsoft Works, Encarta and Money, Quicken Basic, Efax Web Link, VirusScan and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Among the multimedia software programs are Windows Media Player, AudioRack CD Player and MusicMatch Jukebox. Integtrated Internet-related programs include My Yahoo!, as well as HP Diagnostic Tools and Online Backup.


Connections


Connection ports available with the Pavilion N3310 consist of a modem phone jack, PC Card and CardBus slot, parallel and serial ports for connecting a printer or other device, a VGA output to connect to an external monitor and an audio out jack for external speakers. Also included are USB and PS/2 ports.
