HP Pavilion 533W Specs
The HP Pavilion 533W is a discontinued desktop PC that was originally released by Hewlett-Packard in 2003. The case is a mini-tower that is 8.3 inches wide, 15.2 inches tall and 15.5 inches deep. The tower weighs 35.1 pounds when fully assembled. Although all of these specifications are focused on the aesthetics of the HP Pavilion 533W, there are more important specifications that are associated with the hardware of the PC.
Processor
The HP Pavilion 533W is equipped with an Intel Celeron processor that is rated at a frequency of 2.0 GHz, or 2000 MHz. The microprocessor features a Level 2 cache memory size of 128 KB and a bus speed of 400 MHz.
RAM
The HP Pavilion 533W is compliant with DDR 266/PC 2100 RAM, with a maximum RAM size of 1 GB, and 256 MBs of RAM are installed and included in the HP Pavilion 533W by default.
Drives
The standard HP Pavilion 533W comes equipped with a 60 GB EIDE hard drive. A 3.5-inch drive is also included for 1.44 MB floppy disks. A combination CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive also is included. This IDE drive features a write speed of 8x, a CD reading speed of 40x and a DVD reading speed of 16x.
Graphics and Audio
Intel Extreme AGP Graphics are integrated and included with the HP Pavilion 533W. The integrated sound card is AC '97 compliant.
Peripherals
The HP Pavilion 533W PC includes a basic keyboard and mouse. An internal modem also is included and is pre-installed into one of the motherboard's PCI slots for dial-up Internet access. An integrated network adapter also is included and allows for high-speed Internet access.
Software
The HP Pavilion 533W came with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition installed by default. Other pre-installed software includes Adobe Acrobat Reader, Norton Antivirus 2002, WinDVD, Quicken Financial Center, MusicMatch Jukebox, Encyclopedia Britannica, ArcSoft Photo Impression and ArcSoft Greeting Card Creator. Online software includes AOL, CompuServe and EarthLink.
Warranty
The HP Pavilion 533W originally included a one-year warranty. One year of technical support also was included.
