Tamuning is located on the western shore of Guam on the Hagatna Bay. The city is home to the A.B. Won Pat International Airport and just south of Tumon Bay. Tamuning is a popular destination for tourists and the military personnel on the island. Add this to my Recipe Box.
The Gym Tavern
The Gym Tavern is an affordable, friendly bar with daily specials on beers and well drinks. The bar opened in August of 2003 and has since built a diverse clientele. The bar has a jukebox, free wireless Internet, and serves free snacks on weekends and during parties. The Gym Tavern is open from 8 to 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 to 4 a.m. on weekends and holidays.

Tower of London Pub
The Tower of London Pub is Guam's only British-themed pub. The pub has been voted "Best Dive Bar" with the "Best Beer Selection on Island" by GU Magazine, a Guam lifestyle magazine. The pub serves a large selection of imported beer including Guinness Draught. The Tower of London Pub has free shuffleboard, free wireless Internet, a pool table, jukebox and electronic dart board. The bar is open Monday through Thursday 1 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday 1 p.m. to 4 a.m.; Saturday noon to 4 a.m.; Sunday 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.; holidays from 1 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Hard Rock Cafe Guam
The Hard Rock Cafe is a chain of rock n' roll-themed restaurants. The Tamuning location was established in 1998 across from the DFS Galleria on Pale San Vitores Road. The restaurant prominently features a full bar and and serves traditional American fare including burgers, salads, barbeque and sandwiches. The Hard Rock Cafe Guam is a tourist attraction and experience, decorated with a vast amount of rock memorabilia including instruments, guitars, and pieces associated with The Beatles, Elvis, and Jimi Hendrix. The bar opens at 10 a.m. daily. It is open until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Chili's Bar & Grill
Chili's Bar & Grill in Tamuning is located close to the Tamuning Shopping Center in downtown. Chili's is a franchise restaurant chain which opened its first location in 1975. Chili's is known for its traditional American fare including burgers, salads, appetizers and ribs. Chili's has a full bar and multiple televisions, usually featuring sporting events. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
