There are a number of gay-oriented establishments in Pittsburgh.
A number of gay clubs spice up the downtown Pittsburgh area, especially on the gay friendly Liberty Avenue. Clubs such as Cattivo, Pittsburgh Eagle, Club Hot, 941 Salon, and Images Pittsburgh offer standard club amenities like great music and pool tables and a few extras such as go-go boys.
Cattivo
Cattivo is a gay and lesbian dance club that offers happy hours all week from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for after-work patrons. It offers a full food menu up to 1 a.m. It is open Wednesday to Sunday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. The club hosts Luau and Masquerade parties, features DJ Adele every first Friday and has Viewing parties of shows such as The L Word.

Pittsburgh Eagle
The Pittsburgh Eagle targets gay youth for clientele. The club is open Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. It is an 18 and up club and anyone under 21 has to pay a $5 cover charge to enter the club. Club events vary each month, but include CD release parties from local artists and competitions like the Pegasus Pageant. DJs Ronnie and Tony Ruiz usually the tracks but guest DJs do drop by.

Images Pittsburgh is a nightclub on Liberty Avenue. According to the club's website, amenities include the latest music, live entertainment, pool table, digital jukebox, dartboard, a classic bar with bottled drinks and what it calls trendy d cor. DJs Tyler and Trevor spin records Saturdays. The club has karaoke on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hot male dancers are featured on Tuesday and Friday.

The 941 Salon is on Liberty Avenue and pegs itself as a neighborhood bar and dance club. The establishment features go-go boys wearing g-strings. DJ Elysium performs at the club.
