Quickly connect your Dell Pocket DJ to your Windows Vista PC.
The Dell Pocket DJ is a 5-GB (gigabyte) MP3 player. The small device allows you to take a sizable portion of your music library with you wherever you go. The Pocket DJ can be used with all versions of Windows, including Windows Vista. Connecting the Pocket DJ to your computer is simple, and soon you will be able to listen to your favorite tunes while on the go.
Instructions
1. Insert the Dell DJ Explorer installation CD into your computer and install the program. Connect the Dell Pocket DJ to your Windows Vista computer using the USB transfer cable, which was included with the device.
2. Double click on the Dell DJ Explorer icon on your computer's desktop to launch the software. This program allows you to view the songs that are already on your Pocket DJ's hard drive, as well as transfer new songs to the device.
3. Open your "My Music" folder in a new window and locate the songs that you wish to transfer onto your Pocket DJ. Right click on the songs and select "Copy."
4. Return to the DJ Explorer software. Right click inside it and select the "Paste" option. Wait until you receive a message stating that the transfer process is completed.
5. Disconnect the Pocket DJ from your Windows Vista PC and enjoy listening to your favorite songs while you are on the go.
