Obvious Files In Home windows Media Player

Windows Media Player is a Microsoft program that allows users to listen to music, play videos, and add music to CDs and MP3 devices. Clear files from the Windows Media Player with little effort. Windows Media Player allows users to clear their history or delete items one by one.

Instructions

1. Open Windows Media Player. Right click on the Media Player toolbar at the top of the screen. The Media Player toolbar is not like any of the other toolbars. You must click on it to view the options. It appears as a black line that says "Windows Media Player." A small menu appears. Click on "Options" under the "Tools" section.

2. Click the "Privacy" tab in the window that pops up. Click the "Clear History" button. This may take a few minutes. Clearing the history removes any files in the "Recently Played" section in the "File" menu. Click "OK" when you have finished.

3. Find the file you want to clear in the "Library" section of Media Player. Search for the file by artist, album, song, genre, year and rating.

4. Right click on the file. Click "Delete." Decide if you want to delete from the Library only or delete from the Library and the computer. A file deleted from the Library remains in the computer but does not appear in the Media Player. Files deleted from the Library and computer are completely removed. Choose the option that fits your needs. Click "OK."

5. Continue clearing files until you remove all of the selected files.
