The Shoppes at Innsbrook, located in Glen Allen, Virginia, offer a complete shopping experience with various retailers as well as a dozen bars and restaurants on-site, making it a popular destination both by day and after hours. While numerous restaurants are clustered throughout the complex, only a few distinguish themselves as "bars."
Sharky's Bar and Billiards
If you're looking for a true "bar scene," Sharky's serves up a combination of a fully stocked bar, live music four nights a week and games, billiards, a jukebox and numerous large-screen TVs for taking in the big game. Those looking to light up should head to the smoking section at the main bar, while a large nonsmoking section, complete with pool tables and TVs, is available throughout the rest of the bar. Menu items include a variety of appetizers, pizza and wings, as well as house specialties like the Beer Battered Shark or Shrimp and the Sharky's Burger. Live music plays Wednesday through Saturday and is either held indoors or outside on the open patio, depending on the weather.

The Beach House Bar & Grille
Guests channel the beach's relaxed vibe and fresh fare inland at Beach House Bar & Grille, where there seems to always be something going on. Each night features a different avenue for entertaining patrons, with Karaoke Mondays and Temptation Tuesdays, which feature sliders, crab cakes, cheeseburgers and jerk chicken for $1 each. Wednesday turns the bar into a dance party with DJ Tech spinning tunes and hosting karaoke, while Thursdays bring on drink specials. Fridays and Saturdays feature "dueling pianos" and a live DJ. Caribbean-themed food choices range from seafood selections to "Surfside Sliders" and beyond.

While not exactly a bar, the Capital Ale House does offer an extensive selection of ales and lagers, with 75 beers on tap and 250 by the bottle available daily. Wine and cocktails, made with top-shelf liquors, are also served. The restaurant also offers a large menu that includes seafood choices, soups and salads, appetizers, pasta and chicken dishes, along with the ubiquitous "sausages, steaks and chops," according to their website. Entertainment is also steps away, with a separate gaming area with a pool table and dart boards, among other options. During the warm months, a large patio seats 150 at a time and offers views of a nearby brook and duck pond.
