Bars In Brunswick Ohio

Many Brunswick bars have food specials.


Brunswick is a city in northern Ohio, approximately 30 miles to the southwest of downtown Cleveland. Located in a relatively affluent and residential area, Brunswick has bars that tend to be on the upscale side. Many of its bars serve a wide variety of food and have special events such as karaoke nights.


The Grille


The Grille in Brunswick has a menu that includes Greek, Mediterranean, Italian and American cuisine. For sports viewing, it offers nine 38-inch plasma TVs and one 73-inch TV. Patrons can choose from over 100 martinis, wines and cocktails. Various events are held throughout the week, including an open mic night on Wednesdays hosted by a DJ and celebrity bartender nights. On Thursdays through Saturdays, a DJ is on hand to spin music. Shot specials are sold on those nights as well. The Grille opens at 11 a.m. seven days a week. As of 2010, it has a daily happy hour with reduced prices on drinks and a daily $5 food special. The Grille has a deck along with takeout and delivery food services. It is open until 2:30 a.m. on Monday through Friday and until 2 a.m. on weeknights.

Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill


Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill features 11 42-inch plasma TVs for sports viewing. Offering what is called the coldest tap beer in Brunswick, the Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill has free Wi-Fi Internet service as well as various drink and food specials throughout the week. Examples include Tuesday Mexican food nights, fish fry Fridays and discounted hot wings on Mondays. On Saturdays, it serves a full slab of ribs for $10 (as of 2010). The bar takes pride in the fact it sponsors local athletic teams and hosts fundraisers for organizations in the Brunswick community. The beer is served in frosted mugs.

The Red Onion


Although its name might sound like it's part of a chain, The Red Onion is actually a family-owned restaurant and bar. The Red Onion has karaoke on Friday nights, nine TVs for viewing sports, the Golden Tee golf game and a jukebox. A big attraction is its menu, which features daily specials that include wrap combos, homemade chili and soup. It opens at 11:00 a.m. on weekdays and on weekends at noon. The Red Onion opened in the early 1980s and hosts various events, including fundraisers and a psychic fair with palm and tarot card readers. Coupons for food and drinks can be printed off its website.
