Use MP3 CDs and DVDs to easily transport your music collection.
The disc burning suite Nero has the capability to create CDs and DVDs of MP3 files that can hold many more audio files than a traditional audio CD can. This lets you store your MP3 collection on discs for backup purposes or for playback on other devices that are compatible with MP3 discs. Nero houses all of its disc burning functions in its SmartStart utility and provides various customization options for your MP3 disc.
Instructions
1. Insert a blank CD or DVD into your computer's optical drive. Double-click the "Nero SmartStart" desktop icon, or click "Start," "All Programs," "Nero" and "Nero SmartStart" if you don't have the icon.
2. Click "Audio Burning" under "Quick Tasks" on the program window and click "MP3 Jukebox Disc" to open the Burn Jukebox Disc screen. Type a name for your CD next to "Disc Name" and select your disc burner from the "Destination Drive" drop-down list.
3. Click "Add" and navigate to an MP3 file you wish to add to the disc. Hold down your left mouse button and highlight multiple songs to select multiple files in the same folder. Click "Open" to add your selection to the track list. Nero continues to open a new dialog box so that you can select each song for your disc. Click "Cancel" on the dialog box to stop adding songs to the track list. Nero then stops opening dialog boxes.
4. Click "Burn" to burn the MP3s to your disc. Click "OK" after the process completes.
