A USB cable connects your Zen player to your computer.
Music is more mobile today than ever before, and MP3 players like the Creative Zen Nomad Jukebox help make that possible. Whether you like to plug it into your car radio for road trips and commutes, or if you just like to carry it around with you and listen on headphones, your music library is accessible at the push of a button. 60 gigabytes holds a lot of music, and Creative's MediaSource application makes it a snap to transfer your computer's music library to your Zen Nomad.
Instructions
1. Insert the installation CD that came with the MP3 player into the optical drive on your PC. When prompted, click "Install software for Nomad Jukebox Zen NX," then click "OK." Click "Yes I want to restart my computer now," then "Finish," and wait for your PC to restart.
2. Use the USB cable to connect the mini-USB port on your player to a USB port on your PC. Sometimes USB ports are located in the front of a computer, and nearly all modern computers will have USB ports in the back. Your PC should automatically detect and recognize your player.
3. Open Creative MediaSource and click the "Player/Organizer View" button. To transfer tracks from your PC to your player, click "Show/Hide Right Panel" so that the right panel is showing, then select your source device in the "Sources" window. Select tracks you wish to transfer in the "Content" window.
