MOV videos are most often found on Macs.
The SWF file container corresponds to the Small Web Format, pronounced as "Swiff." SWF files are animations created in Adobe Flash that are normally uploaded to websites for streaming. SWF files can be played problem-free in Adobe Flash, but the file type doesn't work well in most media and video jukeboxes. This being the case, you may wish to convert your SWFs into MOV files, which are designed to work well on Macs in the QuickTime multimedia software. Online file conversion services perform this task cost-free.
Instructions

1. Open any Internet browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, and access media-convert.com (see Resources). Click the "Choose File" button and find the SWF you want to convert.
2. Choose "SWF" or "Small Web Format" as your video input format and pick "MOV" or "QuickTime Movie" for your output.
3. Click "OK" to convert the SWF. After the conversion completes, click the Media-convert download link to receive your MOV.

4. Open mediaconverter.org in your favored Web browser (see Resources).
5. Click "Upload a file" and track down the SWF you want to convert. Next, choose MOV as your output.
6. Click "Start" to convert the file into the QuickTime format. Once the conversion completes, click the link to snag your MOV.

8. Click "Choose File" and find the SWF to convert. Then select MOV as your output format.
