Make your own DVD covers.
You can create your very own DVD cover with ease. You can do this to spruce up the appearance of a blank DVD case. Rather than use a Sharpie to write a title on a DVD, you can use a DVD cover. You can use any number of programs to create a DVD cover; however, they all have a similar process for making the cover from start to finish.
Instructions
1. Launch your DVD cover software. Start a new project.
2. Create a DVD cover. You can either manually create a cover or import an image from the Internet. Many online resources allow you to download DVD covers from free. If you choose to create your own DVD cover, open your image creation software. Photoshop, or other similar software, will allow you to complete this task. Create a canvas in your software by going to "File" and clicking "New". Make the canvas 278 mm by 190 mm to make it match the proper size of a DVD. This size accounts for a little "bleeding," meaning a small margin above that of an actual DVD. Create the cover of your choosing. You can use text, images or a combination of both.
3. Peel the back off of the DVD cover that came out of the printer. This will expose the sticky side of the cover. Place the DVD cover onto your blank DVD. Using you hand, apply the DVD cover smoothly and avoid any folds or wrinkles. You have successfully made your own DVD cover.
