Hewlett packard Pavilion A410e Specifications

The HP Pavilion A410e is a discontinued Media Center desktop PC that was introduced in December 2002. It offered multimedia capabilities, networking, strong performance and value. Like other Media Center PCs, A410e computers allowed users to watch digital entertainment on their PC or connect the desktop to a television. Media Center PCs typically run media software and a media-friendly operating system.

Processor

The A410e had a 400 MHz, 2.0 GHz Celeron processor, which made it a fairly fast system when it was introduced. However, it would not be a match for more modern computers or applications.

Memory

This desktop included 256GM of preinstalled DDR SDRAM, with the ability to upgrade to 2GB maximum. This is not enough RAM for most modern applications or media software.

Storage

The HP Pavilion A410e included a 40GB, 5400rpm hard drive and a 3.5-inch 1.44MB diskette drive. Most modern computers do not include disk drives anymore and have more hard drive space.

Operating System

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition came preinstalled on the Pavilion A410e and was sufficient for home users, who were its target audience.

Software

This desktop included a variety of media-related and educational software, including HP RecordNow by VERITAS, Intervideo's WinDVD SE, Encyclopedia Britannica 2002 Service Online and MusicMatch Jukebox.
