Food
No party is complete without something to eat and drink, and this provides a great place to further your 1950s theme. Stick to casual, easy-to-eat fare that party goers can enjoy poolside, such as sodas, floats and milkshakes. For adult guests, you can also include martinis, mint juleps, Champagne punch and Manhattans on the menu. A big meal can be difficult to juggle in a bikini, but 1950s snack foods can be as simple as pigs in a blanket, fruit salad served on a bed of lettuce leaves, pretzels or cheese and crackers. Activities
