Fort Bliss
is an Army base located in the states of New Mexico and Texas.
Fort Bliss is the United States Army's second-largest installment, located in New Mexico and Texas. The Army base is designated for military personal and their families. Visitors wishing to stay near the installation in southwestern Texas, can choose between a variety of hotels located in El Paso County. The county is home to the El Paso Intelligence Center headquarters, part of the homing tract of many military personal, and the El Paso International Airport.

The Microtel Inn and Suites is an AAA-approved hotel located on Gateway West street, a short drive from the Interstate 10 and nine miles from Fort Bliss. Complimentary breakfast is served during morning hours, with an exercise room, laundry facility, and an outdoor pool area available. Nearby dining options include Starbucks, BJs, Cheddars, Famous Dave's BBQ and Furrs Family Buffet, all less than a mile away from the Inn. Attractions including the Sportsplex, Texas A&M Research Center and Yselata Missions are all a short drive away from Microtel.
