Surprise Your Boyfriend
Sometimes the best gift a girl can give her man is time away from her with his best friend. When trying to figure out surprise your boyfriend with a guy's night out or in, all you need to do is plan ahead. Whether you're in a new relationship or have been dating for a long time, an evening apart can make the heart grow fonder. If your guy is showing signs of hankering for some male bonding with his old sidekick, score major girlfriend points by arranging it all for him.

Night Out
1. Make reservations at a great steak house or other great restaurant in town that you've learned about while dating, for your man and his best friend. Tell your guy that they are for the two of you so that he is even more surprised when you take him there. Have the waiter present them with an envelope that contains their itinerary for the rest of the night along with any tickets and cab fare or other information about their transportation for the evening. Score extra girlfriend points by renting a limo for the evening to cart them around.
2. Buy two tickets to an activity that they would both enjoy going to. Think about the stories that you've heard about what the two of them used to do together. Whether this means a round of golf, a great concert or go-cart racing and arcade games; just make sure that it's all taken care of so all that they have to do is enjoy it.
3. Talk to the owner of their favorite bar. When figuring out surprise your boyfriend with a guy's night out with his best friend, arrange to pay the tab ahead of time with the owner. You could give them a certain amount that they can spend when they get there or leave a credit card if the sky is the limit. Don't forget to leave quarters for the pool table and jukebox so he can play songs in cheers to the great relationship that he has with his girlfriend.
4. Arrange to be the one to pick him up at the end of the night. If you'd like, have a snack and drink waiting at home for him to finish off his evening with a romantic interlude. But don't be disappointed if he's so tired that he just wants to go to sleep. He'll be sure to thank you later.
Night In
5. Stock up on your man's most loved drink choices. Have a little mini bar ready in the corner of the room with glasses, ice mixers and a bucket of his favorite beer.
6. Cook up some appetizers. Though a lot of men would be happy with just chips and dip, put a homemade spin on the evening by making a few treats yourself. Even if you just deep fry some shrimp and whip up some brownies, the thoughtfulness is sure to to earn you some extra girlfriend relationship points.
7. Rent some movies or check out pay-per-view listings for the night and let the men know what's on in case they want to just sit and chill for the evening.
8. Arrange for the local pizza place or other delivery restaurant to deliver food during the evening. You can have a set time that they do or just prepay and then the guys can call when they get hungry.
9. Stack a few game choices on the table. If there is a board game that you know he likes, put it there with a deck of cards. Or if he's into video games, have the newest multi-player one that he's been wanting wrapped up for him. When trying to figure out surprise your boyfriend with a guy's night in with his best friend, sometimes the simplest thing to do is get him something that will keep them busy all night.
