Although the Windows Media Player comes installed on every PC, there are many music players that rival or exceed the player's abilities. Yahoo's! Music Jukebox plays your CDs, provides customized music stations and is one of the easiest burner software packages on the market. Like Microsoft, Yahoo! provides their player for free. With the Jukebox, PC users have greater CD burning options.
Instructions
1. Download and install the Yahoo! Music Jukebox (see link in Resources below). Click "Start," "All programs" and "Yahoo Music Player" to run the program. It opens displaying four areas: left navigation plane, now playing, music controls and information and the main content area.
2. Insert a blank CD into your CDRW drive. It appears in the Jukebox's left plane. A dialog box appears displaying burning options. Left-click to close it.
3. Open "My Music." Double-click the icon in the left plane. Drag artists, genres, albums or tracks to the blank CD icon. PC users can also drag their play lists to the blank CD icon.
4. Continue adding tracks to the CD. When finished, double click the icon. The CD burn page opens in the content area. Click and drag to rearrange song order. The Jukebox informs the user the CD's total playtime as well as if there are too many songs. Clicking the check box next to the song removes it from the burn list.
5. Review the burn list. Click "Burn CD" to make your new audio CD.
