Used commonly as a digital audio file, the .AA file extension is not among the most accessible files across the Internet. The extension type is used with audio books and is used primarily in iTunes and Nero files. Convert your AA files to the MP3 Audible format using free file conversion websites or the Apple iTunes program that is used to play the file. Conversion with either source takes only a few minutes. Instructions
File Conversion Website
1. Navigate online to a file conversion website like Zamzar, or one of dozens of others that can be found online.
2. Click "Browse" on the homepage of the website and use the pop-up menu to select the AA file from your computer.
3. Click on the file and click "Open" and select "MP3" in the "Convert To:" menu.
4. Enter your e-mail address and click "Convert" to have your file sent to the e-mail address as an attachment.
iTunes
5. Download and install iTunes onto your computer using the website's official website and free installation instructions.
6. Drag your AA file onto your iTunes library page and select "Edit">"Preferences">"Import Settings" in the upper menu.
7. Click "Import Using: MP3 Encoder" and click "OK."
8. Right-click on your file and select "Create MP3 Version" to convert the file.
Music Match Jukebox
9. Launch the Music Match program on your desktop and select "File">"Options">"Convert" in the main menu.
10. Select your AA file in the "Source Directory" window and select a folder to send it to in the "Destination Directory" window.
11. Select "MP3" in the "Destination Data Type" menu and click "Start" to convert your file.
