Convert An Mp3 To Expensive

Flash offers many ways to play MP3 files. The most sophisticated of these methods requires the use of ActionScript and XML programming in order to set up a playlist and control the streaming of the audio file into an online player with control features such as stop, pause, rewind, etc. This is the most basic way to convert an MP3 to a Flash format that will have no bells or whistles. It will just start playing when the file loads (usually in a web page).

Instructions

Import the file

1. Once you have Adobe Flash open, choose "File" then "Import" and "Import to library" from the menu. Find the file on your computer and choose "open"

2. Once you have the file in your library, you can open the library by pressing "CTRL+L" on your keyboard. You will see the file in your library. Click and drag it out onto the stage.

3. Now you need to set the file to play automatically. In the timeframe, right-click on the first keyframe of the only layer there; in your properties inspector, choose "start" under the sound options. This tells the music to just start playing when the file loads.

4. Test your movie by pressing "CTRL+Enter." You should see a blank movie (white square) pop up and hear your music.

5. Save your file with a file name and in a location you choose by using the "File" menu. Then choose "File" and "Publish" to publish your file as a .swf (Flash) file that you can use anywhere (such as on a website). The published .swf file will be in the same folder you chose when saving the file.
