Convert UIF Files to MP3 Format
Used on Mac, Windows and Linux systems, .UIF files are supported by few rare players and with even fewer programs. As one of the least accessible file types, they will not be as compatible as the similar MP3 file format. While they may lose some capabilities after conversion, you can convert your UIF files to MP3 format using any of a number of free file conversion websites that can be found on any Internet browser, or free programs used to convert files.
Instructions
Zamzar
1. Locate a free file conversion website on the Internet such as Zamzar and click the Browse tab on the homepage of the website.
2. Use the pop-up menu to find your UIF file in your computer's folders and click on the file and then select Open.
3. Click Convert To: and select MP3 and enter your e-mail address as the location to send the converted file to.
4. Click Convert to send the MP3 as an attachment to your e-mail address.
iTunes
5. Open your iTunes player on your desktop and select Edit > Preferences > Import Settings on the main menu.
6. Select Import Using: MP3 Encoder and click OK.
7. Right-click on your UIF in your iTunes library and select Create MP3 Version in the pop-up menu to convert your file.
MusicMatch Jukebox
8. Open MusicMatch Jukebox on your computer and select File > Options > Convert.
9. Click your UIF file in the upper-left window and select a folder to send your converted file to in the upper-right window.
10. Select MP3 in the Destination Data Type window and click Start to convert your file.
