Create A Radio Playlist Station

You can create your own radio station online.

You can make your own radio playlist stations online to share with your listeners, or enjoy them on your own. It’s easier than ever to create your own Internet radio playlists. Blip.fm, Last.fm and SoundCloud.com have a lot to offer when it comes to building playlists that interact with others.

Instructions

Blip.fm

1. Go to Blip.fm and sign up for a DJ account. Use the search field to find a song. Select and submit songs to add to your live radio station stream.

2. Hover your cursor over the far right of the song to reveal the actions button. Click on the button and select the star to add the song to your playlist. Repeat this, adding several songs to your playlist.

3. Go to your Blip.fm station page. Click on "Playlist" near your profile image. Play, delete, or rearrange your playlist tracks by clicking on songs and dragging them into position.

Last.fm

4. Go to Last.fm and sign up for a new account. Begin tracking your music with various applications, add artists to your library, or immediately start making your playlist in one of two ways.

5. Enter an artist or song into the upper-right music search field. Hover your cursor between your chosen song title and the "Duration" and "Listeners" information to open the drop-down menu. Click on "Add to playlist." Give your playlist a title. Describe your playlist and click on the "Add To Playlist" button to complete the addition.

6. Go to your Last.fm profile page if you’ve already tracked many songs and added them to your library. Click on the "Library" tab, click on an artist, then choose the song you want to add to your playlist. Add the track to your playlist, as described above. Click on the "Playlists" tab. Click on the playlist you made to listen to playable tracks, or make a new playlist.

7. Go to SoundCloud.com and sign up for a free music account. Go to your dashboard page and click on "Upload & Send." Click on "Choose Files" and browse to the music files you want to upload.

8. Pick several files to include in your "Set" which can function as a playlist. Click on the "You" tab and select "Sets," then click on "Create your first set." Group your selected music files into a set to make a playlist.

9. Edit your set to rearrange the order of your playlist. You can also upload or move existing files to include them in your set.
