Gay Bars In Dallas

Most of Seattle's gay bars are located in the Capitol Hill area.


The Capitol Hill area of Seattle has most of the city's gay bars. Seattle's gay scene offers everything from sports bars to cocktail lounges. From the sophisticated Lobby Bar to the relaxed atmosphere of The Elite, there is something for every taste in Seattle. Most bars stay open until 2 a.m., but hours may vary.


Chapel Bar


Located in a former mortuary, Chapel Bar features a full martini menu featuring over 35 types. Happy hour occurs daily from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The bar serves a full dinner menu Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. A bar menu is available after 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and all night Monday and Sunday. The menu features light fare. Chapel has a private VIP lounge that can be rented for private parties of up to 40 people. Catering is available for private events. Chapel bar hosts local performers. The club supports local gay and lesbian organizations.

The Elite


The Elite is Capitol Hill's oldest gay bar. The self-described "gay Cheers" features pool tables, a jukebox, dartboards and four high definition televisions for sports fans.

Purr Cocktail Lounge


Purr serves a Mexican influenced menu. The bar is open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 2 p.m. to midnight on Sunday. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and all day Sunday. The lounge hosts DJs Thursday through Saturday nights. Monday and Tuesday features karaoke and brunch is available on the weekends.

Pony


Pony is open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Weekend hours are from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m. The bar features DJs and live bands. Happy hour lasts from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. everyday except Wednesday, when happy hour prices last all night. The bar has a rooftop patio.

The Lobby Bar


The Lobby Bar hosts weekly special events such as viewing parties of RuPaul's DragU and gay trivia night. The bar specializes in cocktails, but also features draft and well beers and a wine list. The menu features organic and locally grown ingredients used in classic bar food, such as fries and sliders. Happy hour lasts from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every day. The bar is available for private parties.
