Get Audio From The Dvd

Extract audio tracks from a DVD using DVD audio extracting software.


Often you may hear soundtracks or songs on a DVD that you would like to save so you can listen to them again. You might try searching for the song and not find it, or you might not know find the song you would like on the DVD. Using DVD audio extracting software, you can load the audio tracks from the DVD, preview the tracks you would like to save, and save them to your computer.


Instructions


DVD Audio Ripper


1. Navigate to the imToo website (see Resources) and click on "Free Download" to save the DVD Audio Ripper software to your computer. Double-click the DVD Audio Ripper setup icon to install the program to your computer. Click "Next" when prompted and click on a directory in which to install the program.


2. Select a format by clicking on it from the "Profile" drop-down menu.


3. Insert the DVD into your computer DVD drive and click the "DVD" button to load the DVD.


4. Select which tracks you would like to extract by clicking on the corresponding box. You may also rename the tracks by entering a new label in the Text box.


5. Click the "Preferences" button to select an output directory by browsing for a specific directory and clicking "OK" to save the audio track.


AoA DVD Ripper


6. Navigate to the AoA Media website (see Resources) and click on "Download Now" to save the AoA DVD Ripper to your computer. Double-click on the AoA DVD Ripper setup file to install the software. Click "Next" when prompted and choose a directory in which to install the program.


7. Insert the DVD into your computer DVD drive and open the AoA DVD Ripper program.


8. Select "Extract Audio (*.wav)" from the "Convert To" drop-down box.


9. Click the "Load DVD" button to load your DVD into the program. Select "Import From DVD Disk/"


10. Click the specific tracks you would like to extract by clicking on the corresponding box. You can also right-click in the track section of the program and choose "Check All Titles." Click "Start" to extract the audio tracks from your DVD.


DVD Audio Extractor


11. Navigate to the Top Video Converter website (see Resources) and click on "Free Download" to save the DVD Audio Extractor program to your computer. Double-click on the DVD Audio Extractor setup file to install the program. Click "Next" when prompted and choose a directory in which to install the program.


12. Open the DVD Audio Extractor program by double-clicking on the program desktop shortcut icon.


13. Insert your DVD into your computer DVD drive. Go to "File" and "Open." Select the source DVD by moving your cursor over "Source" and clicking on it to load your DVD.


14. Select the music tracks you would like extracted by clicking on the corresponding box. Choose an "Output directory" by browsing for a specific directory and clicking on it to select it. Select "Extract" and the DVD Audio Extractor will extract the audio files to your computer.
