The Creative Zen M is a model from the Vision line of MP3 players. You can access music, video and photo files all on one convenient compact player. Features include 2.5-inch color screen, 60 GB storage space and an FM tuner. If your Creative Zen M starts to malfunction, you can perform some troubleshooting in order to fix the issue.
Instructions
1. Reset the Creative Zen M player. If your player freezes, reset the device to see if this fixes the problem. Place a pointed option, like a pin, into the reset hole at the bottom of the device.
2. Select "Clean Up" from the displayed options on the Creative Zen M after you have reset the device. The player will get rid of any invalid files and links that may have been transferred onto your player.
3. Choose the "Reboot" option from the Creative Zen M menu after you have finished cleaning up the player. It may take several minutes for your MP3 player to reboot.
4. Update the firmware for your Creative Zen M player. You can find the latest download on the product page for the MP3 player on the Creative website. Connect your player to the computer with the included USB cable once the download is complete.
5. Replace the memory card that you have installed with your Creative Zen M. The memory card may be full or not functioning correctly if you are unable to upload new files onto your MP3 player.
