My Media Player Visualizations Will not Maximize

Media Player is an audio-video software package on computers with Windows operating systems. Changing the Media Player screen from "Library" to "Now Playing" switches the screen to a light-show display with moving images synchronized to the music. Windows refers to these moving images as "visualizations," which can be relaxing to view while enjoying music. Occasionally, the screen displaying visualizations may not maximize to fill the full monitor or laptop screen space. This usually involves a simple fix.

Instructions

1. Double-click the Media Player desktop icon to start the software on your computer. On older Windows platforms, the icon is a blue, red and green circle. On newer systems, the icon is an orange circle on a pale blue background with a white triangle in the center.

2. Click the "Music" tab on the main "Library" screen to select a track or album to play. Double-click the selection to start playback.

3. Click the button in the bottom-right corner with three squares and an arrow pointing to the right. This button switches the display to "Now Playing" mode, featuring visualizations.

4. Click the middle button (shaped like a box) in the upper right corner to maximize the visualizations screen. If this doesn't work, click the minimize button immediately to the left, then maximize the visualizations to full screen by clicking the Media Player icon on the taskbar at the bottom of the monitor.

5. Click the button in the top left corner of Media Player to revert to "Library" view if all other steps fail to maximize the visualizations.

6. Click the "View" button at the upper left and select "Video Size."

7. Check the box next to "Fit Player to Video on Resize" and select "200%" at the bottom of the list window.
